Roads & Bridges magazine is excited to partner with Milo Media to co-locate its first-ever Focus Forward, Part 1: Bridge Infrastructure with the CHC Lifting Conference.

Program Overview

In the first of a five-part series addressing the U.S. infrastructure system, Focus Forward, Part 1: Bridge Infrastructure will offer an in-depth examination of topics that impact the nation’s bridges and arise from their failures, including highway funding, bridge management and upcoming projects.

Preliminary Program

Focus Forward, Part 1: Bridge Infrastructure will be comprised of forums moderated by Roads & Bridges magazine Editorial Director Bill Wilson on the following topics:

Accelerated bridge construction: 1-35W bridge update and follow-up to collapse;
Bridge inspection and monitoring: best practices and new regulation;
Bridge maintenance: current and new programs instituted by Mn/DOT and other DOTs;
Bridge construction: new projects, design innovations and practices; and
Bridge safety: traffic and worker safety on the jobsite
